I had this dream so many nights ago but I just decided to put it here just now. There are two reasons why I was hesitant. 1) I got scared to "reveal" my "secret". 2) I was not so sure if this is an interesting story or just a piece of trash. But I put it here now because I'm certain/hoping that someone out there can relate to this situation of mine. Here it is:
I can't vividly visualize the details but I'm pretty sure that we were in school. My guy friend and I caught each other's gaze and we were both ecstatic to see each other because it's been awhile since the last time we spend time together. Due to that, we took advantage of the situation. We gladly held each other's hand and walked our way, and while we were enjoying each other's company, our schoolmates saw us. They were looking at us as if we were committing a heinous crime. They gave malice to the scene that they had seen. (FYI. We were enjoying each other's company not because we love each other as boyfriend and girlfriend, but because we're just very good friends and we really just miss each other. There's nothing romantic between us.) Suddenly, a familiar face popped out in the scenario. It was her: my friend's girl. The girl in real life is not beautiful (don't take me wrong, I'm not being bitter or biased or whatnot. I'm just stating a fact, period.) She is short-haired, skinny, old-looking lady. But the girl in my dream was so much better than the real thing. The girl in my dream has an alabaster skin with large, sparkling eyes, paired with long and curly lashes, crowned by silky, straight locks of hair. I concede, she's ethereal. Anyway back in the story, she was so upset with what she'd seen. She ended up fighting with me and I ended up fighting back (this indeed cannot be true because I'm too pretty for a cat fight). We had several exchanges of trash talks but this particular question of mine had pretty much killed it for her (sorry, it's too personal to mention). Instead of answering my question, she just wept. And because she ran out of words and had been put in a middle of shame, my friend felt obliged to coach her so she could answer back (what a bitchy and ungentlemanly act right? My real life friend will not do such thing). I caught him coaching her, so what I did to shut him up was kissing him. I kissed him straight on the mouth. He didn't reciprocate my kiss but he also didn't stop me, he simply remained frozen in his place. Our kiss was kind of intense, was that "wet kiss"? I'm not sure about the terminology... I tried to insert my tongue but he didn't let me do so, so I just pulled back. As I pull back, I noticed that all the people were staring at us, including the girl. The girl was shocked and broken with what she'd seen, a fountain of tears was streaming down her cheeks. She ran away, and my friend followed her.
Analysis:
I read an article in a magazine that the best girl friend (kaibigang babae) has all the right to be upset with the guy's girlfriend because the girlfriend has now replaced the best friend in his life. That study rings true in my case. I can't even find time and opportunity to be with him now. No more small talks. No more rubbing of elbows. No more hope. No more us. He has torn from my life. Oh I miss him so badly. =(
DISCLAIMER:
A lot of bloggers nowadays write about their dreams, and most of them are looking for interpretations. In my case, I am not. I don't believe in signs and wonders, and if there's a reliable person who has the ability to interpret my dreams it is none other than I: the dreamer. Wonder why? Because it was my dream. It is my mind. The situation is happening to me not to you. So if I can't understand my own dream, nor do you. Of course.
